Overheard on BenefitsPro

All that we heard from our current President and the Democratic Congress was "we are here to save the middle class", during his campaign and during the "healthcare reform" debates. I cannot understand how requiring the middle class to pay for over the counter medicinal purchases with after tax dollars and limiting the contribution to FSA's is HELPING the middle class. In essence the middle class received a tax increase in these areas. This kind of illogical thinking comes about when you have an "all inclusive" plan paid for by the taxpayer. ie. members of Congress.
