Everytime an article gets run in any media outlet that tells of Obama wanting the rich to pay more taxes (or get less relief), the outlet ought to be required to show a table of how much of the federal budget comes from what income brackets, corporations, etc. As long as those facts are not present, demagogues get away with foisting the impression that the country is being carried "on the backs of the workers", while the wealthy and business are getting off with a light load.
