Overheard on BenefitsPro

These comments are unbelievable. Behind energy costs and health costs, Defined Benefit plans are the number 3 item destroying this country. They were poorly designed from the beginning and now the costs are staggering. I have personally been involved in and witnessed how the costs of pension plans are destroying our schools with their ever increasing costs. You think the private sector is ill prepared for retirement? Wait until the government can no longer support the payments of these silly plans - I assure you it is coming.
