Some current legislators will still be eligible for retiree benefits if they have served at least six years before Jan. 1, 2013. Hmmm that's only 6 years of public service while other public employees have to work 30 or more to get their health benefits. Just a slight in justice here. I just can understand why Michigan's legislators want to attack the public employees of their own state. No wonder people are moving out in droves!
