Better yet, let's simply make Medicare available to anyone at any age, peg reimbursements to SCIENTIFICALLY established evidence-based best outcomes, and fund it with a payroll tax. Employers could choose between the $1000/mo. per employee their group coverage costs, or, a payroll tax of less than half that amount. Gosh. What would I do? As a nation we would save over 1/3 of our current "health care" expenditures and eliminate a lot of unnecessary occupations.
