Mississippi Supreme: No Coverage for Accident Where Policy Was Void Due to Insured's Misrepresentation
The Mississippi Supreme Court, reversing a trial court's decision, has ruled that an automobile insurance policy was void as a result of the insured's failure to list her boyfriend as a regular, frequent driver of her car, and that as a result the insurer was not obligated to provide any liability coverage for an accident in which he was involved. Read More

Employee Exclusion Barred Coverage Even if Truck Driver Was Independent Contractor, 11th Circuit Rules
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, affirming a decision by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, has ruled that an employee exclusion in a commercial auto insurance policy precluded coverage for claims stemming from alleged injuries to the insured's driver even if the driver was an independent contractor. Read More
