West Virginia Supreme Court Overturns Order Requiring Insurer to Disclose Its Insureds' Names and Contact Information in Bad Faith Settlement Case
The West Virginia Supreme Court has ruled that a trial court had erred when it ordered an insurer defending unfair claim settlement allegations arising in connection with a claim for uninsured motorist ("UM") coverage to disclose the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of its other UM insureds.  Read More

The Kentucky Supreme Court, reversing an appellate court's decision, has ruled that a two year "suit against us" provision in an automobile liability insurance policy, which tracked "nearly verbatim" Kentucky law, was not unreasonable and should be enforced.  Read More

Iowa Supreme: Anti-Subrogation Rule Limited Insurer's Potential Recovery from Truck Driver
The Iowa Supreme Court has ruled that a person hired by a trucking company to drive a truck for a fertilizer and chemical distributor was an insured under the Business Auto Coverage Form of the distributor's insurance policy and, therefore, the anti-subrogration rule limited the ability of the distributor and its insurer to recover from the driver.  Read More
