The Connecticut Supreme Court, affirming an intermediate appellate court's judgment, has ruled that an underinsured motorist ("UIM") insurance carrier was entitled to judgment as a matter of law when all alleged tortfeasors had settled the insured's claims against them for the injuries allegedly giving rise to the UIM claim in an aggregate sum that was in excess of the policy limits. Read More
