SIU eNews: What is a forensic photographic expert?

Wayne Runion: A forensic photographic expert is a person who is trained and experienced in photography and has additional training in handling and examining photographs as evidence in legal proceedings. Forensic photographers may be asked to photograph evidence or crime scenes, examine photographs for authenticity, or compare and analyze photographs and render opinions.
