No Coverage for General Contractor as Additional Insured Where Subcontractor’s Allegedly Faulty Workmanship Did Not Damage Other Property
The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida has ruled that the insurance company that had issued a commercial general liability insurance policy to a subcontractor was not obligated to defend the general contractor as an additional insured where the lawsuit against the general contractor did not allege that the subcontractor’s allegedly faulty workmanship had caused “property damage” to the completed project. Read More
