Florida District Court Dismisses Collision Repair Shops' Antitrust Claims Against Auto Insurers
In the first-filed action in a multidistrict litigation case involving two dozen suits, consolidated for pretrial purposes, in which collision repair shops across the country accused many of the automobile insurers in their states of conspiring to suppress the reimbursement rates for collision repairs in violation of Section I of the Sherman Antitrust Act and various state laws, the Florida federal district court has granted the insurers' motion to dismiss all claims, with prejudice. Read More

A federal district court in Illinois has ruled that Target was an insured under a commercial general liability insurance policy issued to Target's fitting rooms supplier despite the expiration of the program agreement between Target and the supplier, where their supplier qualification agreement remained in effect. Read More
