Predicting Kentucky Law, Federal Court in Subrogation Case Rules that Economic-Loss Doctrine Did Not Apply to Consumer Transactions
A federal district court, in a subrogation case brought by an insurance company and its insured against the manufacturer of a refrigerator, has ruled, on an issue of first impression, that the Kentucky Supreme Court would not apply the economic-loss doctrine to consumer transactions.
