The Minnesota Supreme Court has affirmed a decision of the Workers Compensation Court of Appeals upholding a ruling denying a workers compensation claim by a police officer with post-traumatic stress disorder on the ground that his PTSD lacked a physical component. A change to the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Act that would have allowed the police officer's claim did not apply, because the claim arose before the effective date of the change in the law. Read More
