Overheard on BenefitsPro |
People in the private sector work their butts off to not only build their business, but to support their family and they still have to pay more than anyone in taxes. If a responsible business owner yeilds them more money then why wouldn't they want to keep it? They give so much to the government already. sometimes just as much as they make. As a credentialed teacher, I am ashamed that union workers are not willing to give up any of their "free health care" to better our state. If teachers in California paid just 10% of their benefits, they could hire teachers, including me. But instead we continue to be the lowest performing state and the greatest in debt. I am sad to say that I have accepted a job in China to teach international students, until someone understands who really needs support.
