Overheard on BenefitsPro

The real problem is...medical costs are too high for most people. The healthcare act is too new to have cause this and I have not heard a clear explanation of why costs exceed market capacity, but my own feeling is an excessive burden of high incomes on the product and service supply side (medical products manufacturers and hospital administration - and all of the fancy hospital and medical office building construction). If there were no healthcare legislation, many people would have to go without insurance and as a result, without care. The market would then collapse and physicians, hospitals, medical products suppliers and insurers would be pushed out of the market because so many could not afford them and would just die at home.
