Overheard on BenefitsPro

As one who is approaching Medicare age myself I am outraged that this program and Social Security are even considered on the chopping block. I've been paying into these programs all of my working life and I DO EXPECT something for my money. I continually ask myself why is it that politicians always look to goring someone else's ox than their own? They're the ones who got us into this mess and in my opinion I think they should be the ones paying to get us out. How about some budget tightening on their part first? How about their favorite programs getting cut first? This is class warfare on a grand scale.
