Overheard on BenefitsPro

We are always comparing health care quality and costs to other nations which is dis-ingenuous since the US is the world's largest homogenous nation while the comparative countries have generally the same ethnicity. Obviously the more near sameness of ethnic backgrounds are going to impact health care cost & treatment. Further our nation is not as centrally located as the comparable countries since treatment would be much nearer in say France that in the US. While there must be concern about health care cost & treatment we must also remember the differences that exist in each of those countries.
