A few years back I lost my coverage and I thought the concept of a HSA was just what I needed. Well, it was so frustrating to get anywhere with it, it seemed like a law that was just allowed to die from neglect. I still think it's a good concept and don't understand why it is not more popular. The only way to control costs is for the patient to be involved in the payment and to have some benefit for them to control expenses.
