Underinsured? Plaintiffs Lawyer Points to Hurdle in Personal Injury Litigation

A lawsuit stemming from a rear-end crash in Glastonbury last year settled out of court for $100,000, which the victim’s attorney says is about half as much as the case would be worth if the driver who caused the crash had adequate insurance. Attorneys often can’t collect enough to make their clients whole when motor vehicle crashes occur involving people who are underinsured or uninsured.
