Select Sector SPDRs summary for the week ended January 15, 2010:
The S&P 500 was slightly off for the week, down 0.78% for the week, but up 1.88% year-to-date.
Sector SPDR Assets were down by $401 million for the week, or off 1.25%.
There were 15,300,000 fewer Sector SPDR shares created for the week, or 1.21% fewer.
Volume for the week: 799 million Sector SPDR shares traded.
Healthcare (XLV), was the best Sector SPDR for the week, up 1.38%. Materials (XLB), was the worst-performing
Sector SPDR for the week, down 3.21%.
