Good morning, Resource Investors.

With the dollar's charge against the euro stalled by a stabilizing situation for Greece, gold recovered significantly on Tuesday, with the April futures contract rising by $30. The precious metals market has been moving in step with news out of southern Europe of late, with funds flowing into the dollar as news worsened. Analysts say that despite recent stabilizing developments, gold remains vulnerable to another euro slump vs. the dollar.

Along with gold, most commodities saw a turnaround on the first U.S. trading day of the week, with March copper futures adding 14 cents to close at $3.22 a pound. The base metal was further bolstered by news out of Asia that suggested robust demand.

In the crude oil market, prices are on the rebound following a four-week losing streak. Another blizzard in the U.S. mid-Atlantic region helped the case for higher prices, while the lower dollar on news that Greece would get its bailout also shored up crude. In addition, the IEA bumped its forecast for global demand by 170,000 barrels per day, higher than expected.

For more on the reasons behind these moves, see these headlines, where you can catch up on what happened in the resource markets this past week -- and prepare for the next.
